So the building we live in is verrry old, which is one of the main reasons I love it, buT it has a few minor splits and cracks here and there. The biggest thing that catches my attention every time is this one crack in the hardwood floors! I heard about Yarn Bombing a few years ago and thought it was super cute, so I'm thinking of adopting it into my studio <3 I need to freshen up my yarn collection with some fun colors first :)

Four Corners
Here are some pictures from this evening from the rooftop of my building :) The air is perfect with a slight breeze, and the fresh, crisp, autumn chill is in full effect!
Northeast.
Here is the traditional balcony view I've posted before. Notice the colored lights!! They change every night, it's so fun!
Southeast.
Northwest.
That well lit up building to the far right is nuts also! It has crazy light patterns that move in a specific rhythms. Sometimes you can see the reflection of the lights on the two building from the first picture.
Northwest.
This is the 21st St. and Locust corner view. I love the neighborhoods here, the buildings are so beautiful <3
Goodnight for now :) Tomorrow I am going to update with some of the "before" pictures of the apartment. Some really major and fuN projects are going to take place asap to add some life into my neutral little studio!

Bohemian Wedding!
So, I am no where near getting married, but it doesn't hurt to plan ahead, right? I am Sooo Inspired by this Bohemian styled wedding!! The colors, the headband, the flowers, the scenery, and most of all the Bus ;)
The hanging lights and ornaments are fun, I love her headband, and the picnic idea is very earthy and intimate.
Drinks in Jars labeled with fabric, and the hanging flower bouquet is suCh a beautiful touch!
and honestly... who wouldn't loVe riding away in a classic VW Bus?? So Fun!
You can check out more from the wedding --> here! There are so many little touches that make this such a cute wedding theme!

getting lost...
Today started out as an adventure to an Antique Car Show in Greenville, DE. On the walk there, though, we got so caught up in the amazing weather combined with lovely sights that we never even made it! We came across some beautiful little finds so I thought I'd share them :)
Old Abandoned Buildings <3
Crazy Berries!
The Scenery...
And a Classic Little Boxcar Shot <3
Some words of advice: Always take advantage of the little opportunities to get lost in life! It feels so refreshing to just go out and explore the space around you, plus you never know what you'll find <3

Missing my old favs...
When living in Wilmington, NC Hallelu was always my First stop when shopping for new clothes. I can't wait to get to Philly and see what new beautiful boutiques are in store for me :)!! Check out this video on how Hallelu got started, and this fun photo shoot with the girls styled and photographed by Lindsey Edwards!

...explore this world!
Thursday, 31 March 2011 at 18:58 (New Orleans, LA)
an older man rode up on his bicycle asking "is this for anyone to write on?"
after receiving confirmation he picked up a piece of chalk and began to write. as he rode away i read the words "Before I die I want to..... watch my grand kids do well" I cried a little (of course) and didn't get a picture. But the emotion I experienced within that moment is much better than any photograph would have been.
While living in New Orleans for, give or take, 7 months I came across some pretty cool things. Some that I will remember and some that will escape my memory as if it never happened. Feeling the love this man projected as he wrote, re-read, and road away is why I will always remember this moment.
